On October 9th, Jim Webb and George Allen met for their final debate before the November election. The debate was sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Virginia at the studios of the Community Idea Stations in Richmond. The event was produced by WTVR, CBS 6 in Richmond. Russ Mitchell of the served as the moderator, with WTVR’s Ric Young, WCVE’s May Lily-Lee, and Lulu Meese of the LWVVA serving as panelists. The debate lasted for an hour.

10:44 10/10 Update: The folks at the Richmond War Room wrote in to say “we didn’t say that Allen got knocked out of it. He just had a bad night. And we’ve had second thoughts since sobering up…”
