Can TurboTax appropriately calculate multiple-state income tax liability?

Question by courtjesterjon: Can TurboTax appropriately calculate multiple-state income tax liability?
For the first time this year, I had to work significant amounts of time outside my home state. I have been using TurboTax to prepare my returns for several years, but I have only been required to file my federal return, and my Virginia tax return. This year, I must apportion my tax liability at the state level between California and Virginia. If I purchase both the Virginia and California state TurboTax software modules, will the program correctly calculate the state liability for both states?

Please, if you have not filed in multiple states and apportioned your days worked during the year, and if you have not personally utilized TurboTax to file your returns in this situation, do not reply to the question. I am looking for definitive answers, not opinion or speculation. Thank you.
