I hope people enjoyed having this made available. Are people still listening? I am going to need to know from listeners if I am going to continue providing this service. How can we improve it? What would you like us to do differently? Would you like to hear more Virginia podcasts, and not just the political ones?

I have noticed that each time the senators or Reps travel to Iraq the republican party always send these puppet like Reps mainly woman freshmen,They are so full of nothing, they miss inform people.69% of Iraq people are out of the country and no one from the republican party is talking about it.The army and the marines are well under paid than the Black water mercenaries.( Please do not let them tell you of the 2% they gave our kids and $ 500 -00 fake rebate, compare that to $103 000-00 for a mercenary with better gear and vehicles and less control) Real story from the kids we have in our counties, is that they are arming the Sunnis. These puppet Reps when they return they tell people that the army is helping to set up village protections which is a flat lie.Do these Reps know that we the people are the parents of those kids they send in Iraq and these kids talk about all that is in Iraq when they at back at home, and emails.Wake!!! up people The idea of this war is to use or kids as security guards for High level Arabs with oil claims.

I can’t believe that she was assassinated by a 15-year-old! What a shock! This is a crazy part of the world, and we are going to have to reassess our handling of such situations. I have spoken with several people from the middle east, and they all say that she was assassinated because it would be a major blow to the Americans. What are we doing wrong?

Isn't that usually code for "I hate immigrants?"

A lot of towns near Boston have done some pretty underhanded things to prevent growth, particularly to prevent growth in the non-insanely-rich segments of society. Typically they begin with a "our natural resources can't sustain this" or "our budget can't sustain this" kind of thing. Then they either zone for big lots and enormous houses, keeping the mix rich, or they zone for tiny condos, to keep out families, so that they can keep their class sizes small.

The state actually had to pass a law stating that if less than 10 percent of the housing stock was affordable (typically, that meant a family of four on sixty grand or less per annum) that developers could appeal to waive all the zoning laws if they built a certain amount of affordable housing.

Lesson: there are worse things than growth. People like to live in Albemarle county... so, let's make sure the growth is well-planned, and not haphazard, and not managed in a way that distorts the character of the county.
