It came down to the wire, but UNC’s Tierra Ruffin-Pratt’s 14 points and 10 boards proved to be too much for Georgia Tech as #16 North Carolina wins it 60-58, to improve to 10-2 in ACC play. The Yellow Jackets wore special pink uniforms in the Play4Kay game, the annual initiative between the Kay Yow Cancer Fund in partnership with the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association and The V Foundation to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer. Wake Forest vs Clemson Basketball Highlights 1/15/13

KJ McDaniels put up a game-high 14 points, and added career-highs in rebounds (9) and blocks (7) as Clemson beat Wake Forest 60-44 in Littlejohn Coliseum. McDaniels seven blocks were the most by any ACC player so far this year. Wake Forest shot just 24.6 percent from the field tonight (15-61). That is the best field goal percentage defense by the Tigers in an ACC game since Jan. 4, 1964 when Wake Forest shot 20 percent on 13-65 shooting in a game at Winston- Salem against the Tigers. Clemson held Wake Forest scoring leader CJ Harris scoreless the last 31:48 of the game.
