It should be fairly inexpensive – however, you should find a licensed agent to provide you with a quote as the rates are going to vary by company and depending on the limits you are required to carry.

I thought all insurance companies covered glass. In fact, I think the windshield doesn’t even have a deductible (but side and rear windows do).

Question by BRM: In Virginia can health care providers opt to participate in some (but not all) of a Insurance carrier’s plans?
For example, do doctors have legal a basis to choose whether to participate in only the PPO plans for a health insurance company and not in their HMOs? What if the insurance company farms out its credentialing to a 3rd party payor? Any one know the section in the code ov virginia that would be applicable to this?

I’m about to be 18 this year i’ve been with Optima Health since I was little (for free) I always thought that when you turned into a legal adult insurance gets taken if you don’t start paying for it. My mom keeps telling me that it lasts until I turn 19 but that just doesn’t sound right to me. I live in the state of Virginia. Can someone please help me out? Thanks

There should be a phone number for Optima on the back of your card. Just call them and ask. That will be a lot more accurate than asking a bunch of random people on the Internet.
