Question by jeff t: What was the hotel in Virginia that was mentioned on NPR last night on All Things Considered?
The show could have been Marketplace, but I believe it was All Things Considered. They mentioned that the hotel is running a mini-retreat winter special, but I can’t remember the name of the place.
This segment includes the Lynchburg to Roanoke portion of the final run of the Norfolk & Western Class J 611 steam locomotive on its return home. At the end of this segment, the 611 is seen passing the Roanoke Shops where it was constructed in May, 1950. Video Rating: 5 / 5
