Op Session at Larry Klines Western Maryland,Pittsburgh& West Virginia and P&LE

I went to the Pittsburgh Railroad Prototype Modelers Meet. I went a day early to operate at Larrys layout. Larry has designed his layout to handle the interchange traffic between the P&WV,WM ,P&LE and PRR at Bowest Yard and the WM to Ridgley Yard on the main line. The scale is O and the layout space is 42’x46′. It was a pleasure to operate since I model he P&WV Pittsburgh Division, Now I know how the traffic I send east is handled at Bowest Yard. Tom Wilson

Developing an Integrated Local Media Strategy
Newspapers and Yellow Pages had long dominated local ad budgets until the portals, search engines and other online alternatives were created. With buying services making it simpler to integrate print campaigns online locally than ever before, where are the efficiencies for marketers now and what does the future hold for local, branded sites? Will the newer ways to target bring more money into branded local interactive media? Are networks the answer? Will portals continue to grow their share? What about Pay Per Call options? The panelists will discuss how national brands are marketing to local audiences online and what the near and long term will hold for branded interactive local media.
