I know I’m posting a lot of road photos on the way home but as I was pointing my camera out the window (thank you image stabilization) the ones on the way home were just coming out better.
This photo was taken when I got back to I-64 after my brief adventures in western Virginia on the byways.
Unlike on the way there, I just didn’t want to put up with any twisting, turning U.S. routes (though I would have one more off roading experience to cross the border from an excursion to see a rare form of bridge near the West Virginia border). Though there aren’t any of those in this part of Virginia anyway.
I don’t think highway engineers are that nuts to put thin highways in the mountains heading into West Virginia.
